Looped from Glenlola Collegiate School gains Special Recognition at Belfast City Hall ceremony
A group of students from Glenlola Collegiate School in Bangor have gained Special Recognition for sustainable and environmental awareness at the Young Enterprise NI Awards for their business Looped.
Looped creates handcrafted bracelets from recycled rope, turning unused materials into stylish and sustainable accessories. The team from Glenlola Collegiate School impressed the judges not only with their product, Looped, but with their commitment to sustainability. Since starting the project in September, the students have managed everything from prototype design to local market research, gaining invaluable real-world experience.
Looped was among six school teams competing in the Company Programme, with judges drawn from business supporters, including Lead Partner, Send My Bag, and new Impact Partners, Staffline and Version 1.
