Northern Ireland’s largest insurance broker, AbbeyAutoline, has announced two key senior leadership appointments as the business continues to expand its commercial and private client offering.
Ciaran McGurgan has been appointed Corporate Business Director, while Kate Moore takes on the role of Head of Private Clients. The appointments reflect AbbeyAutoline’s continued investment in experienced local talent and its commitment to delivering expert, relationship-led insurance advice to customers across Northern Ireland. With more than 22 years’ experience in the insurance industry, Ciaran will support the Commercial Director in driving continued growth across the commercial division, while leading the strategic development of AbbeyAutoline’s private client, property owners, haulage and private medical insurance propositions.
Ciaran joined AbbeyAutoline following the acquisition of his family business, BMG Insurance in Portadown, and has since established himself as one of the company’s leading commercial account executives. Working closely alongside Ciaran, Kate brings 23 years’ industry experience spanning personal lines, client management and operational leadership. CII and APA qualified, she began her career with AbbeyAutoline in branch before progressing through a number of senior leadership roles, including Personal Lines Senior Manager and Senior Client Manager. In her new role as Head of Private Clients, Kate will lead the private clients division while also overseeing the property owners and private medical insurance teams.
