The Natural, Vegan-Friendly Haircare Supplement Brand Developed In Ireland By Hair And Beauty Experts
Beauty starts from within, and that principle doesn’t just apply to skin and nails, but hair too. Just like our bodies, our hair requires nutrients to grow healthy and strong. Anita Donoghue and Steve Kucsera know this all too well, having worked with countless clients in their Dublin salon, the Hair Café, since it first opened in 2016.
Having recommended haircare supplements to their clients for years, the pair decided to team up with owner of Athy-based and online health food store Healthy Living, Kevin Connolly to develop their own brand of nutritional supplements targeting the look, feel and strength of hair. Annutri was launched in March of last year with their first product, Grow It. The mission was to make an all-natural, vegan-friendly haircare supplement right here in Ireland that could be sold in salons so that hairstylists could supply their own customers with the right haircare tools without the need to send them elsewhere to source them. And the demand has taken off, with 60 salons across Ireland and the UK already stocking Grow It.
“At Annutri, we are passionate about taking care of our clients from the inside out and always advise them how to nourish and take care of their hair,” says Anita Donoghue. “Our mission is to bring a holistic 360 approach to haircare. For the last two years, we have researched and worked with Ireland’s leading clinical nutritionists and master formalist specialists to create the hair supplement Grow It with amazing results.”
Grow It by Annutri is a premium blend of vitamins and minerals formulated to promote healthy hair growth, which encourages stronger, longer, thicker hair. The supplement is made in Ireland, vegan and contains no bulking agents – just nourishing ingredients.
“Throughout our research with several hairstylists, we realised they needed something extra to help their clients get to the root of problem hair,” adds Anita. “Most hair products go directly on to the hair and mask underlining problems that need to be treated from within. We realised that in addition to a healthy diet and lifestyle changes, taking a supplement with specific nutrients needed by hair can be extremely helpful in making hair healthy, shiny and voluminous.”
Irish cookery author, entrepreneur and influencer Roz Purcell recently shared on her Instagram (@rozannapurcell) that she’s been using Grow It and noticed an improvement to the condition of her hair. And Grow It was named Best Hair Supplement at the RSVP Magazine Hair Awards 2020.
With Covid-19 restrictions seeing salons forced to close their doors multiple times throughout the last year, Annutri began selling their popular supplements online, so customers can not only purchase Grow It in their favourite salons, but order them between salon appointments and during lockdown.
Grow It, €29 for a 30-day supply, €174 for a six-month supply, and €348 for a 12-month supply, is available through salons nationwide and at annutri.com.
