Local lady Carol bakes up a treat for Guide Dogs NI

Carol Craig from East Belfast has raised £500 for Guide Dogs NI by baking homemade dog treats.

Carol started baking dog treats for her four-legged pals in summer 2017 and has been making them ever since for friends, family and their dogs. A passing comment about being ‘good enough to sell’ sparked the idea of doing a fundraiser for Guide Dogs. As a result Carol hosted a table at two different school Christmas fairs. Carol’s daughter made dog bandanas as an extra gift idea for her to sell. A huge congratulations to Carol for her fantastic fundraising idea and all of her hard work. The orders are still coming in so Carol is going to keep fundraising as long as the dogs want their treats!
